ScanBizCards Business Card Reader App Reviews

App is freezing in the middle of the editing. Very unstable, and very frustrating. All was OK at the beginning but after several updates app became poor quality. Im not sure whether its related to the acquisition but situation with instability started months ago and it looks like nobody is monitoring it.

Does not have option to map custom fields in sfdc thus useless for this type of export

Quick way to save business cards! Doesnt always read ALL of the info correctly, but gets most of it right..... Considering how much is on the cards, it works quite well!

I have used a few card scanning apps - really like this one. It allows me to batch save cards to various folders I create, synchs perfectly between my desktop and IOS and looks great. 0.99 well spent!

What else can you say? It works. Scan your card goes directly into your Outlook database. I love it!

Has trouble with grey text but other than that, great.

Best yet at OCR.

Doesnt scan properly: terrible OCR, fields get totally mixed up; confuses email addresses with web sites; simple English words not recognized. There has to be better out there.

1Sep2016 Update. Still working great. My cards are always available no matter what happens. Big advantage. Message on each card lets me know if that card needs to be added to my address book again if it was purged or I can just refresh my contact with the card info. You can review address contacts and just add select info from the card that was purged from your phone contacts. If you use software that merges duplicate names or phone numbers you might value having all your cards available to restore contact details. I have purged many good contacts with lightning speed and duplicated others using contact editing software. I can always restore my contacts and their details using my automatically saved ScanBizCards contact details from the cloud. ***** Love this app since it came online. Does not only get better it gets simpler, less clutter. IPhone 6 helps big time because the scan is so clear. No editing. Very smart to understand items and correctly make field assignment. All I do is take a picture of both sides of a new card and add it later. I do not put every card in my phone contacts but do keep them in ScanBizCards for later reference or further organize into unlimited groups. Dont worry about finding your contact. Just type anything you remember about that person and their card is there big and clear.
