Handy, simple and helpful

Its been a while since I used these "card" scanning apps being in a largely digital world. (Used to work for a telecom). Now that I am back in a more traditional role with a different industry and I had to dig out the card scanner memory box. I have used the same Apple ID for a long time so I can see the apps that I used to use. However, I am always looking for improvements, better apps, etc. 66% off the Pro price so I bought this one and to be fair Mac World gave this a decent rating although CamCard was listed above it. But. The OCR was supposed to be the best? Nope, not even close. It would have been faster to plug in the card to the iPhone manally that use this App. It read what it wanted to FINE but placed things in the wrong place and missed (did not read) a lot of other things. CamCard did it 100% faster/better - same card scanned with two apps. And, as I now remember if you carry two adrress books and want to save the scanned ones into your "work" address book (aka Exchange in my world) CamCard allows you to save the scanned card into the correct address book which in my case is NOT the default one I am using on my iPhone. I have the default one set for personal. This app had no such function.

Great piece of software I now scan my biz cards on the go. This has saved me so much time and money to be able to get to my business network quickly.

Quite poor scan quality, numbers and letters are misscanned frequently. Some free Apps are even better

App is easy to scan image, saves cards for backup purposes, editing is easy, it learns as it goes. Card design, text layout/font, and OCR remain a problem but its the best of all the apps Ive tried.

Gave it some pretty challenging cards and even with my scribbling on the front of the card, it nailed the information.

Easy to use. I havent tried to export yet although I couldnt be happier with this application.

Dont love it though still would like to see better interpretation of business cards I have to go in and edit quite a bit of information sometimes even simple information that appears to be very clear on the card. Overall though I do like the app

When I was looking for a program to handle my business card Ive downloaded and tried at least 1/2 dozen. ScanBizCards is by far the best program on the market - simple and logical interface and great OCR. I big bonus is it doesnt clutter you contacted of you dont want to.

I play around with this as an in between from Act but it turns out really handy for quick call outs and live the visual card. Paid the couple bucks for the premiim

Just got it so I have only used it a limited number aid times but so far it works very very well.

Have to double check some of the spellings just because the shine on the lettering/camera or dirt on the card might alter it slightly. Entered 15 cards in less than 5 minutes.

Love the simplicity and ease of use accuracy is amazing

Thanks for keeping up current updates By far the best app for Biz cards and they listen and fix bugs and keep improving. I hope they keep this app as they ask you to get their mother app. Does more stuff. Maybe one day but i like this one real well. Doing one thing real real well Is not a bad thing. PLEASE KEEP UPDATED YOUR APP IS GREAT!!!

Useful for conferences in particular. Usually gets it right OCR
